CRC SP-400 provides long-term corrosion protection for all metals, effectively resisting rain. It can be removed using any petroleum solvent. SP‐400 is a waxy, petroleum-based corrosion inhibitor designed to protect unfinished (non-painted) metal parts from corrosion during storage or general use.

Directions
- Shake well before use.
- Stir or mix bulk products well before application.
- Apply only with adequate ventilation; do not use on energized equipment.
- Ensure the surface is clean and dry before application.
- Clean the aerosol valve by turning the can upside down and spraying until only propellant escapes.
- Film thickness can be adjusted by thinning with petroleum solvents, although corrosion resistance varies with thickness.
- For very humid conditions, apply CRC 3-36 first to ensure moisture displacement. Allow 2 to 4 hours for solvent evaporation before applying SP-400.

Remarks
Typical corrosion protection results depend on surface conditions and the environment. Expected protection duration is up to 1 year outdoors and more than 2 years indoors. Periodically check the first application for corrosion signs and reapply as needed to maintain protection.
